Squash SA December 2018 Newsletter

The Foundation, which was established earlier this year by Jason Mudge, Grant Norman, Des Panizza and Danny Haydon, is an independent not for profit association created to raise funds in order to support the growth and long-term future of squash and racquetball in South Australia.

The Foundation has four main goals:

  • To encourage and support all competitive players, referees and coaches of all ages and abilities to continue to participate.
  • To help raise funds with the support of local businesses and individuals to upgrade and/or build new facilities as well as ensuring players have access to the equipment they need.
  • Supporting the development of emerging players and encouraging juniors to take up the sport so future generations also have the privilege to enjoy a lifetime of recreational or competitive participation.
  • To develop stronger and more robust state competitions with more opportunities for local and national championships.

The Squash and Racquetball Foundation SA provides a simple yet incredibly powerful way for all past and present players and supporters of squash and racquetball in South Australia to make a valuable contribution through donations, scholarships, sponsorship and bequests, thereby future proofing our viability as both recreational and professional sports in our state. The Foundation Is currently accepting tax deductible donations of $1,000 or more which will entitle the donor to lifetime membership of the Foundation.  If you are interested in supporting this exciting new initiative, please contact the Foundation on 0435 118 684 or hello@squashfoundation.org.au.
